Romagna in Watercolor
Beautiful things come along very often by synchronicity.
And ‘so that on July 3rd I went to Brisighella, to know Maria Giulia, and to teach watercolor outdoors in her gorgeous and well-kept B & B, the Insolita Locandiera.
In the wild and magical countryside adjacent to the famous medieval village, I was glad to lead a group of students, from various parts of Italy , to paint live.
I tried to accompany people in what I think are the basics of live painting: the ability to listen and the ability to see (not just watch).
I spoken a lot, as my usual ☺ trying to convey, before all ,the fire of passion, … that drives us to do, to look around, to improve, and to look for more!
I would say that is the same fire and heat, which Maria Giulia has put in to create the Insolita Locandiera, with care and attention to every detail, but simply and “taste of home”, by reusing creativity with furniture and old objects. And his B & B is really a ‘work of art, a place cuddle, where I hope to come back and that I recommend with all my passion :-)
One of the most beautiful things, as well as the meeting with the students, was the breakfast the next day, me and Maria Giulia, at the beauty of the badlands, the white cups and glass backsplashes with butter cookies, to tell us life, emotions and loves, for Women.
Thanks to all the smiles, the eyes, the resistance to change, thanks to all present!
